Hello Family,
Where in the world is Elder Bair?... I would have to say that he is in an area called Lafayette, Indiana, And his companion is Elder Judkins from Weber Utah. So Lafayette is the smallest are in the mission we can walk almost the whole area in a matter of an hour or so. because it is so small we didn't have a car and we walked everywhere. But due to my bad knees we got a car part time so all is well thus far. I am follow up training elder Judkins he has only been out for 3 months. he is great!! So we are teaching a couple not too many. we cover Purdue campus and everyone is gone for the holidays and our teaching pool is really down. but we still have a couple of really great investigators that will be progressing when we get everything under control. The ward here is awesome because it is Purdue campus there are a lot of very young families and a lot of them are from Idaho. I met the daughter of reeds dairy in this ward and a lady that grew up with JJ in his stake in great falls. wow. its a small world. This week we are going to be super busy with everything. on Wednesday we have our mission Christmas conference and on Saturday out zone is eating out with the stake president and his family. we are pretty excited. and on Christmas we only have sacrament meeting that will occur. nothing to special yet we still haven't any one that has signed up on our dinner calender for Christmas. That is kinda frustrating but oh well we will get things figured out in not afraid to call and ask for things. I am very great full to serve another year during this time of year. it makes me really thing and ponder the life and the birth of the savior. I always grow to a greater appreciation for him and all the miracles that he provides me with every day of my life. i hope that this year we call pay back to our Heavenly Father for what he has help us with. I love you all and i hope that you have a splendid Christmas.

Hey Mom,
How are things going? Things here are ok... I am getting transferred, and Elder Tatton is becoming a trainer, he is super duper nervous. But he will do fine. This week was amazing we got a lot of things accomplished. Elder Tatton has been super sick this week so we have had to spend a couple days inside... no bueno, I was loosing my mind. I really think that I have ADD kinda bad, well at least I think that I do. This week was fun, and really busy, we were able to do some amazing lessons, first off we had lesson with a Cop, that was reffered by a member cop it was pretty fun! We also had dinner with him, we were super nervous because we had tracted in to this guy and he wasnt to nice. But the evening was amazing, he is a big time hunter so we hit it off and it really set the tone for the lesson. We also had a lesson with Nathan and his family, It is super frustrating!! They are kinda lazy, we have to post pone Nathans baptism because the family wont bring him to church and arn't willing to let him get a ride to church, so it kinda bothers us that we have to post pone it. We had a lesson with Cami it was great she is super prepared for the gospel. She is sill on tract for baptism we had a great lesson and it was very spiritual and was very helpful for her, when in the lesson she had some of the most thought provoking questions that were amazing, when we answsered them she was just in awe and the spirit testified to her. it was great. We also had a sweet lesson with Lindsey it was super great. we also had her go to a "Why I Believe" fireside last night with President and Sister Collins and she got up and prepared her testiomony and gave it, it was amazing. her testimony is just so sincere and so pure it just made my day!! It has just been a great week. We also had an opprutunity to to do some service at Strides, we helped with a christmas activity  that they put on every year and we helped with that, it was really fun, we got asked alot about our church, that place is turning into a gold mine, 4 of the people that we do service with have taking a sincere intrest in the gospel this last week and are really amazing. I am really going to miss plainfield a lot I have a lot of really sweet memories here.
So last night at the Why I believe fireside one of my recent converts from eagle creek spoke. I cried, I now know why I only served 1 transferr there. As he spoke he bore solid testimony of how in one lesson that Elder Bellistone and I had found a concern about Joseph Smith that he had and we broke down and bore solid and sincire testimony of the prophet and as we did this he felt the spirit and he had found his anwser. I didnt know of this until last night, last month he under went the covenent of baptism. and be shared great love that he had for Elder Bellistone and I. I have been doing a lot of reflecting on that, and it had been a humbling experence for me to really think how a sincere testimony can invite the spirit to have an eternal conversion. I love this gospel and this work. Ilove it because of the Joy and the Happiness that it has broght into my life. I love you all and thanks for everything! Happy holidays

Message body

Hello family,
How are you all doing? Sounds like all is going great this week for you all. I am super excited for all the great things that are happening. It brings true delight to me to see the family doing so well! this wee was pretty rough for us. it was so so so busy i never thought that it would end. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we had all day meetings in Fisher (North of Indianapolis) so for three days Plainfield area was not being worked, it really hurt us but it still was a successful week for us. it was pretty good. I love the leadership conferences that we had. the spirit is always super Strong because there is always the 44 most obedient missionaries in the mission that are there. it was great!! i have learned a lot about the holy ghost this week and the feelings of it and why we have it in the godhead. it was super awesome. nothing too much happened other than that! On Thursday part of the day we had a lesson with Nathan it was good but kinda scattered i love them so much but his family is being a hindrance to his progression in the gospel and keeping his from coming to church. I love the family to death but don't understand the importance of this covenant of baptism. We also had a SWEET lesson with a new investigator Cami She is awesome she was referred to us from a member in the ward and she is great she has been going to seminary regularly and she is going to church every week and reading the book of Mormon everyday and is getting baptised on January 21. we are super excited for her. Lindsey is still hanging in there she is still loving this gospel and is looking forward to get baptised, she is starting to recognize that her mom is going to be a hindrance to her getting baptised. we are praying for the best to come for her!! So yesterday had been the best day of the mission so far. we didn't have to much to come to sacrament meeting but Lindsey and Cami both came. that was great. after church there was the First Presidency Christmas devotional that was broadcast. we attended and we had 2 people come to it. It was Debby and John. they are the owners of the farm that we do service at i was so so happy they took a genuine interest while they were there and they said that they would be back to attend. i love the miracle of fasting and prayer. i love them both so much and am very overwhelmed with joy to see them recognize and feel the spirit Elder Tatton and i jumped with joy beyond all belief. it was the best thing ever.
I am very great full that Spencer came with out any complications i am happy to continue to receive pictures to see him i am happy that all is continuing to go well. i love you all and hope that you have a great week.
