October 4, 2o1o

Hey Mom,
Indiana is finally getting a temple!!!! That was such great and exciting news. This is going to skyrocket the missionary work like crazy. But anyways, it's good to hear that everything is going good back home. And to hear about all the good news; about everybody and their life changes. It makes me love and appreciate the little things in life that everyone has done for me. I am very grateful for this day and for the opportunity that I have had to watch conference for the past two days. I have learned so much from it. I especially loved the talk that was given by... I don't remember his name.... but he talked about fly fishing and how that is related to the adversary and how Satan uses fake lures to make us feel that it is something good. and I know that at times we will give in to those lures, but I am so very grateful for the atoning sacrifice that the Lord and Savior has made for us; that we are able to repent of those sins that we have made. There were alot of exceptional talks, but that was the one that really stuck out to me and hit me like a bag of bricks.

Conference went well. Elder crandall and iIwatched all the sessions at the Myer's home and both days we had investigators there to watch it with us.  It was awesome. Saturday we had David Bonbrake there. He loved it, he knows that the church is true. Plans are being made for him to move out of his living arrangement so that he can be baptized!!! Hopefully bt the end of the month, he will be able to move out. Then Sunday, we had not planned to be at the Myer's and we were at the church when Bro Myers called and said that we should come and watch it again at his house because he had invited some non-member friends over to watch it. So we are not going to turn down an offer like that! We got there and we watched it there. Anyways that whole time the investigator to me looked so familiar, and I could not put a finger on who it was. Come to find out, I tracted into him a couple weeks ago and he wanted nothing to do with us. So that went really well. We left with Brother Myers after conference to give a member a blessing; that went really well. When we got back to our apartment, Bro Myers called and said that his friends called to say that they really enjoyed conference and felt the Spirit and that they wanted to know more about the church, but not from missionaries but from Brother Myers. It was an awesome weekend.

I also learned a valuable lesson this week. Not all milk that you but in the stores is good milk. I bought a gallon of milk and drank a whole bunch of it and it made me super duper sick to my stomach...not fun at all. By the way, we moved apartments. Our new address is 8307 Hunters Knoll Place, Fort Wayne, IN 46825. The stuff that has been sent to the other address I will still receive because there are still missionaries that live there, but that is my new address. All is going well and I am loving the work.
Anyways I love you tons!
Love,
Elder Bair
