October 11, 2010

Hey family,
Ok just so everyone knows, I moved apartments. I am in the same area, with the same companion, and the same investigators, the only difference is that now I live in a garage. Yeah, a garage. It stinks so bad, but it is where the Lord wanted us to go. Transfers are the 20th of October, so mail needs to go to the mission office in Carmel. I miss the hunting season! It is fast approaching here; I actually saw my first deer the other night. I tried to hit it on my bike.... it didn't work so much.... but I can say I tried.
That is really sad to hear about Mick having a heart attack. I pray that everything will go good with them. It's a good thing that Nick and Adam were there to help their Dad. Nick is a great person. And did you know that his wife is 4 months along? I am pretty excited for them.
The temple work must go on, and it's awesome to know that I have two awesome parents that are helping with that. Super Cool. It's good to hear that you are finally getting your lines down to a science. I read a talk the other day that was about a temple worker that worked at the veil. They had a French person come through a session and this man was assigned to escort the French person, not knowing any french. At the time that he was at the veilwith the French person , he knew that what he was speaking in French and it was the exact words that he was suppose to say. Plus, he really didn't know any French. So what I am getting at with this story mom, is that maybe you don't know them now, but you will know them for a fact at a later date. And you will have that spiritual high telling you that you have said them right. I have seen that already with the lessons...it blows my mind. You will know for a fact that what you say, you will know it's true. You mentioned the sacramental prayers too. How great are they; we often use those scriptures with less active members and every time I do I can feel the spirit so much stronger and so much more. It amazes me, I love them and often study them.
The teaching continues and is super slow right now because of the whole apartment move. We are quite a-aways from all of of investigators and we really don't ride our bike like 15-20 miles a day. So, we have been doing a whole lot of tracting and the area that we live in is kinda of a richer area. The people are not as receptive, but the ones that are, are way more solid and likely to stay in the church. Every thing is going great here and I am doing fine. I love you all!!
